[click! SIGH.]
After some trial and error, I've concluded that I can't fix this in the mirror. I need. Help.
...
Preferably a roboticist. Or a surgeon.
...
Or anyone with decent medical— you know what, I'm not sure I trust any of you.
[There is a bit of a pause. Kim grumbles something uncomplimentary about the boat, canines and the Captain's genetic makeup and sexual history.]
Also there's an animal or something trying to kill people. I think.

How curiously wonderful!

Really? I can't imagine why, I think its rather fantastic myself, though I suppose there are some out there that are decidedly afraid of things they just don't understand.
[Kimmy you are getting a very stern look now.]
Now - what bit you, exactly? And what do I need to do?

[She starts to gesture with the mechanical hand, but it jutters unpleasantly, so she drops it again. It's obvious where the damage is.]
There was a shock; I woke up nearly an hour later.

I see. And your neck is part of this too?

[and she's blind in that eye, for now.]

Perhaps you ought to sit.

I'm not going to faint.

I most certainly hope not, though I rather think when you say control over your extremities is decreasing that isn't a very god thing.
