[click! SIGH.]

After some trial and error, I've concluded that I can't fix this in the mirror. I need. Help.

...

Preferably a roboticist. Or a surgeon.

...

Or anyone with decent medical— you know what, I'm not sure I trust any of you.

[There is a bit of a pause. Kim grumbles something uncomplimentary about the boat, canines and the Captain's genetic makeup and sexual history.]

Also there's an animal or something trying to kill people. I think.

Most certainly - ! I rather think I've passed my bit of memory loss while in Underland, it seems that was finally cured in and of itself, which I must admit was a bit of a relief. I was beginning to think myself a bit mad.

...

Of course, I am already rather mad, so I Suppose it really wouldn't have been much different, would it?

We're all mad here.

[she'll just be waiting for you, then.]

[She can most certainly agree with that statement, and eventually she's tapping on Kimiko's door, rocking back on her heels while she waits.]

[Kim opens the door for Alice, but doesn't stand in front of it, opting instead to hide behind. She isn't wearing a glove on her left hand, so the fingers curling around the edge are distinctly robotic.]

..Hi.

[identity profile] entirelybonkers.livejournal.com 2010-10-22 02:35 pm (UTC)(link)
[Alice steps inside, hands coming to settle on her hips as she looks at her curiously.]

What on earth are you doing back there? [Alice has seen some odd things in her day, this is really just another notch on the bedpost, to be frank. She peers at those fingers, eyes wide.]

How curiously wonderful!

[identity profile] autodidacticone.livejournal.com 2010-10-22 03:01 pm (UTC)(link)
[Kim blinks and hides her hand in the more normal one, shouldering the door awkwardly shut. The left side of her neck is quite black and spotted with angry red flesh.]

People were always freaked out by it.

[identity profile] entirelybonkers.livejournal.com 2010-10-22 03:22 pm (UTC)(link)
[She wrinkles her nose.]

Really? I can't imagine why, I think its rather fantastic myself, though I suppose there are some out there that are decidedly afraid of things they just don't understand.

[Kimmy you are getting a very stern look now.]

Now - what bit you, exactly? And what do I need to do?

[identity profile] autodidacticone.livejournal.com 2010-10-22 10:13 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know. When it bit me, it severed something h—

[She starts to gesture with the mechanical hand, but it jutters unpleasantly, so she drops it again. It's obvious where the damage is.]

There was a shock; I woke up nearly an hour later.

[identity profile] entirelybonkers.livejournal.com 2010-10-24 05:09 pm (UTC)(link)
[Alice pulls a face that remarkably resembles something that the Hatter would manage, and steps closer in order to get a better look.]

I see. And your neck is part of this too?

[identity profile] autodidacticone.livejournal.com 2010-10-24 05:12 pm (UTC)(link)
That's where it bit me. Whatever it was severed the power-line leading to my eye and neural jack. It's decreasing my control over my limbs...

[and she's blind in that eye, for now.]

[identity profile] entirelybonkers.livejournal.com 2010-10-24 05:14 pm (UTC)(link)
[Alice isn't certain of those technological terms, but she can tell that it isn't good.]

Perhaps you ought to sit.

[identity profile] autodidacticone.livejournal.com 2010-10-24 05:21 pm (UTC)(link)
[Alice gets a flat look for that]

I'm not going to faint.

[identity profile] entirelybonkers.livejournal.com 2010-10-24 05:36 pm (UTC)(link)
[You are worrying her dammit]

I most certainly hope not, though I rather think when you say control over your extremities is decreasing that isn't a very god thing.
