oo2 | Meatbags

Today I caught myself referring to humans as "spaghetti-coded wetware." I guess that's actually a step up from "meatbags." I bet people will still take offense for some reason. Also, I'm out of coffee. This is stupid, where do I get more coffee in this place?

There's no supermarket.

Maybe I could invent a coffee machine that doesn't run out. There has to be a better way of doing this. Also, I need to talk to the doctor, probably. Is that thing ever where it's supposed to be? Jeez, this place is boring. If it weren't for all the... Y'know, it wouldn't be worth getting up in the morning.

[Option A, thank you. Sort of.]

If my experience no longer applies, then your complaints don't have a place either, being based on your own experience on the matter.

People are what they are, natural or otherwise. In most cases, it's better to just let them be.

Technically, it's all natural.

In every case. Both my legs are robotic.

...My apologies.

[Whatever led to that probably wasn't fun, as far as Vincent is concerned. No one back home gets robotic limbs because they want to.]

Nonetheless, "bobotic" is inorganic. Not natural, in the most basic sense.

In the ordinary sense. If you want to get completely basic, it is. It's all based on the naturally occurring laws of the world. That's like saying a good hand in poker is unnatural, just because it's difficult to find, and unlikely to be dealt.

If it's not something you're born with, it's not natural. Clothes aren't natural. Glasses. Fillings. Robotic limbs. Unnatural doesn't mean wrong, it just means there was conscious and sustained effort, usually from a person, put into its creation.

Mistreating someone, and you are mistreating them by referring to humans in such a negative light, because they didn't go through the same modifications as yourself is...rude, at best.
