[Kimiko is not good at keeping pets alive, but she does know, vaguely, that cats are for petting.]

[He continues to weave and meow, but it's not getting much of a reaction other than a stare. He gathers and ~jumps~ up onto the serving counter, looking from the food to the girl and back several times.

He finally sits on his haunches and opens his mouth, pointing to it.]

Just eat it. You're a cat, you don't need plates.

[Cats don't understand english, Kim. She sighs andskoots a chicken wing off her plate and onto the counter in front of the cat. Felines are carnivorous, right?]

[It's like manna from heaven when it's flipped off her plate and in front of him. Although .. what's that she has on ~her~ plate. Why yes, there is a tasty chicken leg right in front of him, but you could have something even more tasty!

[And now Simon's Cat has tapped into the deep font of insanity that is Kimiko's neurotic bent. She's already trying to figure out how much a cat that size needs to eat in a day and wondering if he'd like coffee or if that'd poison him. She's already hip-deep in imagined coffee-poison scenarios when the Cat makes another noise and she notices the adorable stare.]

[Oh god she's nearly poisoned the most adorable cat in the world to death and she doesn't even know its name.]

[He watches eagerly and then blinks as she offers him his choosing from her entire plate. He picks a chicken wing completely identical to the one he snubbed before and meow with a full mouth.]

Mwow.

[He begins to eat, although he keeps an eye on the young girl, who appears to nearly be hyperventilating. He finishes his wing and begins grooming his paws.]

She's really very easy to break.
